Codabar Barcodes

Codabar is a linear barcode symbology originally developed by Pitney Bowes Corp.

It was designed primarily for matrix printers and it has been in use since the mid 1970s. Each symbol is self-checking and has a uniform width.

C# Sample Code

void DrawCodebar(string text, Graphics g, Rectangle rect)
{
  Barcode bc = new CommStudio.Barcodes.Barcode(BarcodeStyle.Codabar);
  bc.DisplayCaption = true;
  bc.Render(text, g, rect);
}

VB.NET Sample Code

Sub DrawCodabar(text As String, g As Graphics, rect As Rectangle)
  Dim bc As New CommStudio.Barcodes.Barcode(BarcodeStyle.Codabar)
  bc.DisplayCaption = True
